| I bought my 90 TT new and drove it for 2 months when I got my orders. The car has sat in storage in VA, GA and FL over the years. I had to plan as if I would be gone for 12 months so before I put her away, I've always changed the oil and filter and topped off all fluids. I detail the car interior, exterior, engine and underbody and check tire pressure. I go heavy on the interior conditioner. I put a large piece of clean cardboard under the car to reveal any leaks when I return. FWIW, I won't store the car again in GA because of the humidity. I actually had mold growing on my dash after 9 months. If I had to store it in a humid area, I'd lay down a tarp and drive onto it to keep moisture from under the car. Last thing, I disconnect the battery and manually lock it. I leave a key with someone in case of emergency. Last but not least - park the car where it won't get touched/damaged! Regardless of storage costs, I feel better knowing she's parked in dedicated storage. This has served me well over the years as I've deployed. Regards and Semper Fi When I
